There’s a local scrapbooking & stamping store, Scrapbook Cottage, where I love to take classes. They not only offer scrapbook and card making classes, they offer classes where you can learn how to make paper sculptures, such as shoes and purses and also paper crafted ornaments. Just over a week ago, I went to an ornament making class. In the class we learned how to make some beautiful hand-crafted Victorian themed Christmas ornaments. Take a look and see what you think.
After we cut and folded our paper, we attached a material called eyelash trim to the center of each ornament. Then we adhered the paper tags we selected for each of our ornaments. Once everything was attached, we could embellish our ornaments with Stickles.
As usual I was one of the last people at the class and I decided that I’d embellish my ornaments with glitter once I got home since I didn’t have a lot of time to sit and wait for the Stickles to dry before going home. And I do have an affection for glitter, so I had plenty of glitter to choose from at home. I really enjoyed taking this class and meeting, Lori, the new teacher at the store. It was a delightful evening!
