This year I made some birthday cake magnets to send as a gift to my sister, Ann, and to my friend, Danielle. I wanted to package the cakes in a mini version of a cake box with a see-through “window” on the cover of the box.
I used my Martha Stewart Scoring Score board to make my boxes. I was happy with how they turned out.
Using the score board makes creating handmade boxes much easier. I like that there is little storage compartment to hold the scoring tool and a spot to hold the tool to make custom made envelopes. It also has a measuring guide to make envelopes and boxes with. Since I needed a custom size box to place the cake magnets into, I wasn’t able to use the measuring guide. Nevertheless, using the score board really made my box making task easier to do.
I guess you could say that making the boxes with the scoring board was “a piece of cake.” :0)
