Victorian Valentine’s Ornaments

Hearts Valentines Ornament

Oranment with Dazzlers True Love Funky Glitter

There are some great ideas at the Art Glitter blog from their guest designers. When I was a guest designer last year, I found some creative glitter projects from previous designers. One project that really piqued my interest was an article by Brenda Wempler. She made these adorable Christmas ornaments, which inspired me to make my Valentine’s ornaments.

Set of 4 Valentine's OrnamentsI used Art Glitter Dazzlers #D3 True Love Funky, #621 Sea Sprite Fine Glass Glitter, and #906 Carnelian Shard Glass Glitter on my ornaments. I decided to try adding beaded hangers to my Valentine ornaments and a dangling “berry” bead from the bottom of them. I used 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ Memory Glass from Ranger to sandwich my Victorian clip art images inside and used Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to add the glitter to the edges. They were very fun and easy to make.
